Credits are a prepaid balance in euros.
One balance per account pays for everything that is metered.

Never overdrawn
The meter only spends credits you already have, so there is no overage. You can top up on demand.
Reset each period
Credits do not roll over. An upgrade raises the allowance immediately.
When it runs out
Metered work stops and the agent says so. Chat keeps working for anything that does not draw credits, and nothing is deleted.
