How it works

A referral pays out after the second invoice.

You share the link. The console tracks each referral from sign up to payout.

    Share your link

    It is built from your username and sits on the Billing panel of your account settings. Put it wherever the people you would vouch for already are.

  2. 02

    They sign up and pay

    The account has to be new. From the day it is created, it has 30 days to pay its first invoice on a paid plan.

  3. 03

    Month two pays you both

    When their second invoice is paid, €10 lands on your balance and €5 on theirs, each as its own line with a note saying where it came from.

What you earn

A reward is spent like any other credit.

Rewards land in your credit balance and are spent like your plan's credits, on the Computer, web search, page reads and deep search. Model tokens are billed by your provider, so credits never go toward them.

What €10 of credits covers

Any one of these on its own, at the published rates. In practice it is spent across whatever you use, the same way your plan's credits are.

Running alongside: the off peak rate

Between 00:00 and 08:00 UTC the Computer's processor rate is a quarter lower, €0.075 instead of €0.10 per vCPU-hour. Nothing to claim, and it applies to every account.

These checks decide whether a reward lands or is held.

These are the checks the platform runs before a reward lands, in the order a referral meets them.

  1. Link opened

    Remembered for 30 days in that browser

  2. Account created

    Up to 30 days to the first payment

  3. First invoice paid

    Nothing lands yet

  4. Second invoice paid

    €10 to you, €5 to them

  • Both of you on a paid plan

    Each reward lands on an account with an active paid plan. If you are on Free when it vests, it is held, and checked again whenever either of you pays an invoice.

  • New accounts, once each

    The referral is attached when the account is created, so an existing account cannot be referred, and no account can be referred twice.

  • The most recent link counts

    Opening a link remembers it for 30 days. Opening someone else's link after yours replaces it, and the one remembered at sign up is the one that counts.

  • Thirty days to pay

    Counted from the day the account is created. If no invoice has been paid by then, the referral expires.

  • It vests on the second month

    Nothing is credited on the first invoice. Both rewards land together when the second is paid, so an account cancelled after one month pays nothing.

  • €300 per calendar month

    Counted in UTC, per account. A reward that would pass the cap is held rather than dropped, and the console marks it as held.

  • No self referrals

    Your own link does nothing for your own account, and a suspended account earns nothing.

  • Credits, not cash

    Rewards land in your current balance and are spent alongside the credits your plan includes. There is no cash payout.

  • On the Billing panel of your account settings in the console. It is built from your username, so an account without a username is asked to set one first.
